Description
This Barrier underlay has a double vapour damp proof membrane (DPM), as well as a DPM overlap. This advanced moisture guard not only protects your floor from rising moisture, it also provides resistance to fungi, mould and bacteria by sealing your subfloor. Nevertheless, the Barrier also provides protection against excess wear and impact.
This underlay is compatible with any subfloor material and is suitable for use in both downstairs and upstairs areas, although we suggest using a specific acoustic underlay if noise is a concern.

How To Fit Or Use Your Accessory:
Underlays simply serve the purpose of creating a barrier between your subfloor and your flooring.
Most underlays come in a roll form or board and are simple to install:
• Firstly, unroll the underlay across the entirety of your room, running a little up your wall or skirting board in order to create a moisture barrier.
• Tape all joins of the underlay together, and then lay your floor on top.
• Once the floor is laid, using a Stanley knife, cut away any visible underlay.
