Description
Unlike traditional parquet blocks the Zigzag range of floors are engineered with a bevel edged European Oak wear layer which is bonded to a hardwood ply base. This allows for versatile installations that can be bonded to any flat surface including those with underfloor heating systems. Floors within this collection are 15mm thick and come with a 4mm solid oak veneer. Another benefit of an engineered floor is that if it starts to look a little tired, it can be sanded down and re-finished, however this is unlikely to be needed for at least the first 10 – 15 years.
This gorgeous floor will look outstanding in any living space. This floor has been brushed and hardwax oiled to accentuate the natural grains and knots of the wood, meaning you achieve far more variation than a simply stained wood. Herringbone floors are particularly popular in larger rooms, where there is room to show off the impressive pattern of this floor.
