This Luxury Gold underlay offers the full package; exceptional comfort, protection against damp, wear and tear, and also has a whopping 24db acoustic noise reduction. Its exceptional thermal insulation properties also make it ideal for underfloor heating systems and keep your home well insulated, from the ground-up. In addition, the metallised gold vapour barrier acts as a damp proof membrane (DPM), preventing moisture coming through.
This underlay is highly recommended for use in both downstairs and upstairs areas, and is fully compatible with any subfloor material.

How To Fit Or Use Your Accessory:
Underlays simply serve the purpose of creating a barrier between your subfloor and your flooring.
Most underlays come in a roll form or board and are simple to install:
• Firstly, unroll the underlay across the entirety of your room, running a little up your wall or skirting board in order to create a moisture barrier.
• Tape all joins of the underlay together, and then lay your floor on top.
• Once the floor is laid, using a Stanley knife, cut away any visible underlay.
