Description
The Techniboard underlay is designed to provide a level subfloor covering, smoothing out any unevenness to help offer a stable and sturdy foundation for your floor. With an exceptional thermal insulation value of 2.15 TOG, this underlay is also perfect for use on ultra cold subfloors. The polystyrene material also offers a high impact sound reduction, and thus deadens any loud noise around the room.
This underlay is commonly used for commercial spaces and for areas of high foot traffic. It’s also suited for use in both downstairs and upstairs areas, and is most recommended for wooden subfloors, due to its limited moisture protection.

How To Fit Or Use Your Accessory:
Underlays simply serve the purpose of creating a barrier between your subfloor and your flooring.
Most underlays come in a roll form or board and are simple to install:
• Firstly, unroll the underlay across the entirety of your room, running a little up your wall or skirting board in order to create a moisture barrier.
• Tape all joins of the underlay together, and then lay your floor on top.
• Once the floor is laid, using a Stanley knife, cut away any visible underlay.
